CRSP Preparation Courses

B.Sc.(Hon. Biol.), B.E.S., LL.B., LL.M., S.J.D., CRSP
If you are an occupational health and safety professional with 3
or more years of experience, you may be eligible for the CRSP designation.
There are now over 3,000 CRSPs in Canada. Employers value the CRSP
as evidence of professional status and experience. The CRSP is awarded
by the Board for Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.

website www.bcrsp.ca for details of eligibility and for the application
forms to become a CRSP. You should order the BCRSP's "Guide to Registration"
from their website.
This two-day course prepares participants for the CRSP exam that
is offered twice a year by the BCRSP (May and October in every year).
You can take the course with or without having first applied to
the BCRSP. Some people take the course as a last minute review and
others in order to develop a study plan. It is now advisable to
take the course several months before the exam date.
Dr. Peter Strahlendorf has presented this course to hundreds of
people across Canada since 1993 in St. John's, Halifax, Charlottetown,
Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Regina, Vancouver, London, Whitehorse,
Yellowknife and elsewhere. This is the most widely used CRSP course
in Canada.

Cost
The CRSP Prep course is $600 plus HST/GST. HST/GST depends on location of the course. ON and NS courses are $78. BC is $72. All others are $30. A discount is available if 3 or more people in a course are from the same organization ($500 cost per person plus HST/GST).
